The Audio Jackknife

The Audio Jackknife is not just a small hand-held multi source audio and input metering testing tool. It is the result of years of experience and consolidation of needs from audio engineers and technicians in the field. There are other audio test boxes out there, but none with the user interface, flexibility, and integrated tools such as this.

The Jackknife contains:

  • (New) XLR split pins 2 and 3 for testing I-com channels.

  • (New) Phantom power for testing powered mics

  • Audio input level metering via the “home” page and a gauge view.

  • Variable output tone frequency (100Hz to 20kHz).

  • Variable output tone level (-60db to +4)

  • Phantom power indicator for xlr pin 2 and 3.

  • Menu driven touch screen display.

  • Simple built in MP3 file player via SD card for an added selectable audio source.

  • Local speaker for audio monitoring and testing.

  • 3.5mm headphone jack for audio monitoring and testing.

  • Allow the use of rechargeable 9 volt battery, operate while charging.

  • Built in mic for an added selectable audio source.

  • Lip-sync tool.

  • Inline audio level adjust tool (gain or pad).
